Hi

I'm playing a gig at Starbucks in Florham Park this
Saturday June 26 from 8:30pm until 10:45.  So come on..
........

-- Wait a minute, you're playing in Florham Park?

Um  yeah,

-- But I thought you hated Florham Park?

Well yeah, but you know hate is never a good thing and
one has to let these things go and .....

-- But I thought you really hated Florham Park.  Didn't
-- you used to say you'd rather live in Camden, NJ?

Uh, did I?  Um that was an exaggeration.

-- Didn't you describe Florham Park as a "Cease pool of
-- hideous neuvo rich white trash?"

Well growing up there really sucked, but it is getting better.

-- Didn't you use to actually drive to another town rather
-- than patronize businesses in Florham Park?

Well yeah but that was a long time ago.  At least 8 years and
that was really dumb.

-- And what's with Starbucks?

What do you mean?

-- They're a big corporation.  You used to say how evil
-- corporate America was.

Hey now, I was 16 then and didn't realize I was talking about
stuff I knew nothing about.

-- and now?

I know I'm talking about stuff I know nothing about.
Anyway I stopped saying that corporate America was evil ages
ago.  Of course now that I actually work for corporate America,
I'm beginning to reconsider.

-- I don't know man.  You're playing Starbucks in Florham Park.
-- What happened?

It is called growing up and maturing.
People who haven't done it yet often call it "selling out."
When they "sell out" to, they will call it growing up and maturing.
